Her years of professional experience in the private sector and community philanthropic involvement have uniquely qualified her to lead Assistance League. “I’m honored to serve as president. I want to create a collaborative environment where members feel valued,” Linda noted. “Our donors and Thrift Shop customers must feel confident that our programs are responding to real needs in our community, especially this year.” Along with Linda are15 board members that contribute many hours to guide and manage the organization.

Leading any nonprofit organization during this unprecedented time is challenging. Leading a nonprofit made up of all member-volunteers is dynamic.  Assistance League members are deeply connected to our mission and take real ownership. Additionally, as volunteers our members prioritize giving time and energy in service to others. Our member-volunteers serve thousands of people in need every year.
