Assisteens®
Teen Community Service
Do you want to:
- Help those in need in your community?
- Make new friends from different schools?
- Develop leadership skills?
- Get community service credit?
- Have fun while doing it?
Assisteens® of Salt Lake City, a volunteer teen service group open to grades 7-12, is an auxiliary of Assistance League of Salt Lake City.
Assisteens supports many of the philanthropic programs carried out by Assistance League, but also selects and completes their own service projects within the community such as:
- Hosting a holiday party with preschoolers at the Boys and Girls Club
- Assembling Thanksgiving dinner boxes for those transitioning out of homelessness
- Spending time with residents at a senior center
- Providing needed supplies for Head Start preschoolers
- Assembling over 85 bunny baskets for children at a transitional housing center

Meetings and How to Join
Meetings are held at the chapter facility, 2060 East 3300 South on the second Wednesday of the month from September to May. Membership dues of $25 and an activity fee of $10 are payable at the beginning of the year. A $10 t-shirt fee is optional.
