Assisteens are youth auxiliary group of the Assistance League Salt Lake City. These amazing students from high schools across the valley get together monthly to do volunteer work.  On  November 9th they visited the Homeless Youth Resource Center. They were given a tour of the facility and spent  the rest of their time sorting clothes that were donated to the Center. They worked hard and had an enjoyable time. Good job Assisteens!
Look for cars bearing these Operation School Bell signs as they deliver bags of new school clothes to kids in elementary schools throughout the valley. Each year, Operation School Bell provides some 5,000 students with a coat, pair of jeans, hoodie, two shirts, socks, underwear, toothbrush and toothpaste before the cold weather sets in. When you see these signs, you'll know that smiles will soon be on the faces of many happy children.
