Assistance League of Salt Lake City Receives $10,000 Grant From eBay Foundation

During our Holiday Luncheon on December 7, Assistance League of Salt Lake City was presented with a $10,000 grant from the eBay Foundation Corporate Advised Fund at Silicon Valley Community Foundation in support of Operation School Bell. The grant request was submitted by Carol Coulter, Assistance League Fund Development Chair, and was recommended by eBay Foundation's employee-volunteer led Salt Lake City Global Impact Team. This program empowers employees of eBay to support their communities through volunteerism and employee-sponsored grants.  In 2014 alone, Global Impact Teams worldwide recommended over 250 nonprofits to receive grants totaling more than $1,200,000. Assistance League of Salt Lake City is honored to be the recipient of this generous grant that will provide bags of new school clothing to children in need throughout the Salt Lake Valley.
