Philanthropic Programs > ACT III
Last year, over 1,000 seniors received the gift of friendship from Act III. Our Act III entertainers reach out to seniors who are often isolated and too often forgotten by the outside world. Our energetic cast visits various care centers such as assisted living, Alzheimer’s facilities, rehabilitation residences and retirement homes, performing song and dance routines to help bring a smile and brighten the day.
Act III performers present a fall, holiday and spring repertoire. Residents are able to recognize many of the “old-time” songs and are encouraged to sing along.
Assistance League also leaves at each center a set of CDs with their favorite songs to entertain residents between visits!
