Membership Overview
We are a 100% volunteer organization. No employees, no salaried executive director, no paid oversight Board of Directors. Our members do it all. Assistance League is a unique philanthropic organization that offers its member volunteers extraordinary opportunities for contribution and leadership. Assistance League of Salt Lake City is one of over 122 chapters of Assistance League
®.
As a
national organization, our more than 26,000 members clothed over 192,000 children last year through our national Operation School Bell
® program.

Assistance League Salt Lake City 2009
We have three areas of membership:
This is the most common type of membership. We are a non-sectarian organization that welcomes members who want to use their talents, time and energy to benefit their community through proven philanthropic outreach programs.
Our Consociates organization is an auxiliary of the Assistance League of Salt Lake City, established to provide similar volunteer outlets for working or busy people who are unable to donate day time to our programs.
Our Assisteens Auxiliary is our newest auxiliary of Assistance League of Salt Lake City. It began operation in fall of 2007 to provide volunteer opportunities for high school teens in the 8th through 12th grades.
We exist to contribute to our community. Each Assistance League chapter identifies programs in its community where it can be most effective. We focus largely on children, but have specific programs targeted for senior citizens as well as adults in transition or distress.
Isn’t it time you gave back to your community?
