Cookin’ Up a Great Time – And $$$


They really know how to throw a party at Mountain Land Design, a high-end kitchen and bath supply house. Owner Dan Devenport and his staff hosted an evening of food, wine, and fun in their beautiful showroom on Thursday, November 5 to benefit Assistance League of Salt Lake City. Mountain Land and their vendors underwrote the entire cost of the evening, donating 100% of the $50 ticket price back to our chapter raising over $8,300.


Smoke curling from the bbq and delicious smells wafting on the cool night air greeted party-goers before they even got to the door. Inside, things were hopping as four chefs were performing their magic in state of the art kitchens. Wine experts were generous with their knowledge as they poured various wines, each to pair with the delicious food.


Guests included Assistance League members and their guests, Mountain Land employees, customers, friends and relatives and people active in the philanthropic community in Salt Lake. Thank you to Dan Devenport, the staff at Mountain Land Design especially Martina Midgely and Tiffany Andrus who made this event such a huge success.
